Description
Amanohashidate in Miyazu Bay in the Sea of Japan in the northern part of Kyoto is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, along with Matsushima in Mutsu and Miyajima in Aki. It is a rare terrain with about 6,700 pines on a sandbar with a width of about 20 to 170m and a total length of about 3.6km, and it is a mysterious shape created by nature over thousands of years.
