Bellinzona is a nice town in Ticino region as well as the administrative capital of Ticino Region: we will go to Bellinzona to see the main castle, Castelgrande, other two castles and the town center. These castles were built during the middle ages to defend this zone, Ticino Region, from any possible enemy attack and also to survey the Bellinzona valley along Ticino River. If you are willing to walk, we will go to see from outside also the other two castles on the rocks of the hills, figuring out an outstanding view of the other medieval castles and the Ticino river valley around.
