History is full of maritime cities that have based their power and wealth on their port, and Cagliari is one of them. While not as famous and glorious as cities such as Venice, Genoa or Pisa, Cagliari is one of the oldest not only in Italy but even in all of Europe, something of which I, as a guide and a Cagliari native myself, am proud!
