Cruising the glacier on the Ice Adventure may cover up to 5 kilometres of distance, with many diversions.
You will explore fascinating ice features, squeeze through winding canyons, peer into moulins and caves – and the many surprises the ice delivers!
We provide all the technical gear. You provide the enthusiasm, and be ready to learn new skills. Your guide will coach you in the use of crampons, ice axes, ice screws, and other tools of the ice climber.
The Tasman Glacier Ice Adventure is a true New Zealand “highlight” experience, giving you a glimpse into the world of Kiwi mountaineering.
